This project is a complete re-conceptualizing of an existing 1960’s ranch house, located along the western edge of Martin Park in South Boulder. The central buff sandstone-clad section houses the main living spaces and the new second-story bedrooms are tucked into new “sleeping porches”. This project uses simple, vernacular buiding forms combined to create a larger house that still sits comfortably with its smaller neighbors.
